He writes that he is unable to meet Fitzgerald for dinner because he will be in Wexford the next day. He writes that he will get a lens cut for an upcoming experiment, which involves ultraviolet. He briefly describes the experiment’s methodology and includes a rough diagram of the set-up. He writes that it will not be expensive. 3pp.
