[Letter to Dr William Francis from John Tyndall],

Handwritten letter to William Francis from John Tyndall. He suggests H H de Sénarmont’s work from the Annales de Chimie 3 xxxiii 391 as a worthwhile addition to the Scientific Memoirs they are compiling. He offers to split the cost with Francis if he will have it translated. He also asks Francis to have a boy deliver an enclosed note to the Royal Society so he can borrow a copy of G. S. MacKenzie’s Travels in Iceland. He intends to have some of the drawings copied. 3pp.
