From the Field to the Arena: A Century of Women’s Show Jumping at the Dublin Horse Show
This exhibition explores the role that women have played in the history and development of the Dublin Horse Show. It examines their early participation in the Show’s equestrian classes and, also looks at the introduction of women’s show jumping competitions in 1919. It goes onto explore the development of show jumping at the Horse Show and celebrates the continuing achievement of women in the sport today.
The physical version of this exhibition was shown in the RDS Library during Dublin Horse Show week in 2019.
