Description

Handwritten letter from Thomas Preston to George F. Fitzgerald, dated 11 June 1896. The paper’s masthead is from his home at Bardowie, Orwell Park, Rathgar, County Dublin. He writes that he has enclosed a copy of the paper, titled “the more you squeeze it the bigger it gets,” and asks Fitzgerald for his opinion. Preston may have the paper reprinted in Philosophy magazine. He writes that he has been “floundering” through wave motion for the past month without much progress but hopes to make progress in future so long as he “does not manage to die” in the meantime. He sends his regards to Fitzgerald and his wife. 2pp.
