Photograph of a model of an ancient Egyptian two storey house, likely dating to the Middle Kingdom (2040–1640 BC). It was excavated by the British archaeologist Sir William Matthew Flinders Petrie, who is known for his extensive work in Egypt and Palestine. The model is a rare example of a house from this period, providing insight into ancient Egyptian architecture.
