Image taken from a book with the caption "The Battle with the Maritime Nations". The scene is a relief from the mortuary temple of Ramesses III at Medinet Habu. Pharaoh Ramesses III is shown on the right, standing over the bodies of his enemies. The relief shows Egyptian archers on the shore and in ships, while the Sea Peoples are depicted with spears and shields.
