Thomas Kane McClintock Bunbury, 2nd Baron Rathdonnell (1848-1929), Anglo-Irish peer, British Army officer and politician, President of the Society (1913-29), Vice President of the Society (1902-13). The subject depicted three-quarter length, in three-quarter right profile, seated in a brown leather armchair next to which are a red-bound book and papers on a low table; against a ochre coloured, non-descript background; holding a folded newspaper in his left hand, wearing a dark three-piece suit, a gold watch chain extending across his waistcoat; signed and dated l.r. Oswald Birley 1922.
