A silver presentation trophy, the tapering cylindrical body on a spreading base, with a Celtic knot decorated stem, with two Celtic knot decorated handles and a similarly decorated band at the rim, the detachable cover with a finial in the form of a pig, engraved on one side THE P-B PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP PRESENTED TO THE ROYAL DUBLIN SOCIETY 1938 BY DENIS R. PACK-BERESFORD, VICE PRESIDENT, FOR THE BEST LARGE WHITE PIG, further engraved on the other side with names and dates.
