Description

Portrait of Brindle, a longhorn cow. The subject modelled from side view and facing right. With the inscription, "In the possession of Hy. Garnett of Greenpark Co. of Meath." The original drawing by James Henry Brocas was commissioned by the Dublin Society for the "Statistical survey of the county of Meath: with observations on the means of improvement; drawn up for the consideration, and under the direction of the Dublin Society". Written by Robert Thompson of Oatland. Printed by Graisberry and Campbell, no. 10, Back-lane., 1802.
