Handwritten letter from William Francis, The Manor House, Richmond, S. W., to George F. Fitzgerald, dated 26th December 1894. Francis accepts a submission from Fitzgerald, and discusses his other decisions regarding the Philosophy Magazine. 2pp.
Transcription:
"Dear Prof. Fitzgerald
I shall be much pleased to receive a translation of M. Obszesvski's paper for publication in the Phil. Mag., and have no doubt that I shall be able to find room for its insertion in the February Number.
I am quite of your opinion that in any case of controversy between foreigners and our own countrymen no prejudice should be shown in favour of the latter but equal impartiality dealt out to all. Personalities must of course be avoided.
I wrote to [?] Preston suggesting that he should furnish me with an English version of his Inaugural Dissertation, which he has done, and it is now being put into type.
