Portion of letter to unknown recipient (likely William Francis) from John Tyndall. In the letter Tyndall mentions the publishing of a prospectus and the suitability of an accompanying preface. He says he will write it but If the recipient needs it before Tyndall’s work “for Belfast” is complete, he suggests getting T.H. Huxley to write it instead.
