Handwritten letter to William Francis from John Tyndall. In the letter he calls F. M Scwerd’s Beugungserscheinungen a “splendid work.” He thinks it would be good to publish in English but it is very long with many plates. He says he will write to Challis and Baden Powell to check if it has already been published in English in any form.
