"Λ
Thanks for reply re. O.H. am sending it on to Perry. Have been much excited about Larmor's paper though I have only seen the abstract. Rayleigh offered at Council to refer it to me, but I said you lest I didn't understand it at all. It is not interesting. I had an hour talk with him about it. I can't find any flow along magnetic lines in air though. If any it must be very slow. About a yard an hour per CGS unit λ field. I should have seen what you think of this failure. It means [d?] if theory is correct.
But perhaps your [formula] explains it. Does it?
The [l?] he has put into McCullagh is very interesting. Shall hope to hear more of your sunspot period someday. What are you doing with the English language? Don't understand the reference. Wife desires her best wishes and remembrances.
Λ"
