"M d Φ
I am asked to give a lecture at R.I. on the work of Hertz soon. Have you any out of the way materials for the purpose? Or anything suitable for lending? Some of the less know exps I should especially like to demonstrate. I expect you and Trouton have lots of things of one sort or another. It will not be necessary to show again what you showed 2 years ago. Except that I should like to show your many lens [?] kaleidoscope or whatever you called it and any other Irish wave demonstrations.
