Description
Idyllic landscape. In the foreground, two anglers converse on the rocky outcrop of a riverbank. In the middle ground, two shepherds tend a flock of sheep. A sheer rockface that sweeps down to the left bank is linked by a weir of large rocks to a wooded copse on the right bank. In the near distance is a group of buildings, possibly ruins. In the far background, rolling hills.
