Postcard for the 1929 Dublin Horse Show. Colour print of painting by unknown artist. Showing 2 military riders jumping the Double Bank in the International Military Jumping Competition. With Text: Dublin Horse Show, August 6, 7, 8, 9, 1929. Nations in Friendly Rivalry Over the Double Bank. Height 7 ft., Width at top 6 ft. with ditch on landing side. Pride of place in the equine world must be given to this “Annual show of a thousand horses” held amidst a setting of sylvan beauty which has made Ball’s Bridge renowned throughout the two Hemispheres.
