Description
A letter from Charles Chree to George F. FitzGerald regarding results collected by John Edward Cullum of the Valencia Observatory and his desire to send these results to George F. FitzGerald. pp.1
Inscription:
Dear Sir,
Mr Cullum of Valencia Observatory applied a fortnight ago for the monthly means of the magnetic elements here for the years 1889-1893 inclusive, for comparison with the results as Valencia which you and he are working at. He has since written expressing the desire that results should be sent to you dearest. You will find them in the enclosed table.
I have explained to Mr Cullum that as the results for 1893 are unpublished by the Kew committee I should have to stipulate they should not be published by you until the report of the Kew Committee, at present in proof, shall have been published, or until the permission of the Committee were secured. As the committee meet on the 30th formal application for leave is publish, if that is desired, should reach me before that date.
Yours Faithfully,
Charles Chree
