"Dear Sir
On the instructions of Messrs. G. L. Hoch of Hohenlimburg Germany I have written Provost Trinity College for amount of [account?] £1=9=6 for dynamic brushes supplied to Trinity College and the Provost or rather his solicitors state that the person giving orders for the articles should be commemorated with [L]. Accordingly I write this letter, as from a post card forwarded by my clients you appear to have given the Order having written Sir Koch stating the class of brushes you required. If you do not wish to retain the articles, I would ask you to be so kind enough to return them to Mr. Koch.
Faithfully Yours
John Noble"
