Do you prefer to say that a magnet's lines [n?] with it, or not, when a law magnet is oxidly spun. Spin above magnet and tap off curved from centre to ends. First with stand wood, next with stand iron, so as to close the magnetic circuit. Which will give most current in your opinion? The experiment (or some like it) have just been made here. I am sending you a batch of suggested questions for Honours. I cannot well sort them out to the different days, because I don't know what Schuster's are like. He and I have both an MSc man (for 1st 3 days) but I have a real Honours man too. I hope you will be able to sort out and concoct suitable papers from the material (over). I shall also send a summary of the work which my honour man Thornton wishes to hand in. Perhaps indeed I shall enclose it herewith.
Another exp is [diagram] which gives most current to tapping circuit. Or does either give any?
