"Dear Sir,
I send you a manuscript copy of a further paper of Mr [I Sigelouis?] on the connection between Magnetism and Meteorology which my brother extracted from a larger volume of Reports, too heavy to send by post. I had asked him to forward me any more publications on the subject which might fall under his notice, and as this appears to follow I think your own ideas somewhat I think you will like to see it; but I see Mr. [Hazan?] of the American Weather Bureau predicts “bitter disappointment” to those who are attempting to trace a connection between the phenomena.
So you have got a further grant to carry on our observations. Have you decided on what form they are to be? I am quite ready to go on with them if you consider them of any value, or take up another set if I can give the time.
With kind regards,
Believe me,
Yours sincerely,
J. E. Cullum"
