This digital exhibition provides a visual record of 19th century horse and cattle breeds, through a series of images of prize winners from the RDS Spring, Horse and Winter Shows of 1899 and 1900.
The exhibition images are taken from a set of two albums of platinum plate photographs commissioned by the RDS in 1899 and 1900.
The albums were digitised in 2018 by Davison & Associates, as part of the RDS Library & Archives digitisation project.
